What are your top ten music albums that you would want on a deserted island with you?

Provided that you had the means to play them, of course.

Book of Secrets by Lorenna McKennitt, James Taylor's Greatest Hits, anything Beach Boys, Best of Dean Martin, Vivaldi's Four Seasons. anything Beethoven, Frank Sinatra's Duets, Sinatra's Duets 2, Broadway's Greatest Hits, Backstreet Boys Black and Blue.

Lots of eclectic music so I would not get bored.

I may have to name my favorite song if the name of the album escapes me.  I'll use an asterisk* when I do.

    McCoy Tyner,  The Real McCoy
K.T.  Tunstall, *Black Horse and the Cherry Tree
    The Cranberries, *Dreams
Stevie Nicks, *Just Like The World We Know
Dave Brubeck, *Blue Rondo a la Turk
    Carl Orff, *Carmina Burana
    John Coltrane,  My Favorite Things
    Abdullah Ibrahim,  Cape Town Flowers
Norman Greenbahm,  *Spirit in the Sky
    Rush,  *Subdivisions

There are *many* more, and on a different day I might have changed two or three of the above, but voil'a!  These are 10 of my absolute faves!  smile

Live at Earl Court - Morrissey
Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs - Derek and the Dominoes

Uh-oh, I forgot Layla! I might have to swap out either The Band or Dylan for it!

Act 3 - I don't have any Beatles so I would probably swap out the Bowie for a Beatles album (or sneak an extra one onto the island).

Ahhh...I forgot about 'So What'.  ''Miles Smiles" is pretty kick-ass as well!
