When I first heard of Twitter, I couldn't stop checking the feed for new posts.  But, it was a passing fad.  Also, when I originally signed up, I followed mostly crafters.  So most of the posts I got on the main feed were links to craft sites.  I've never been one to read the "gossip" posts.

You have to have a good following and be following a passion or it dies off quickly. Twitter is about up to the minute news and facts and photos about your passions. Fun stuff for someone who doesn't like waiting for their information.

We live in a NOW society and you get to be someone with rants on the internet.

Gratefully the internet is more moderated than when it first came out, so I always use my rants to be positive.

Feel free to follow me on Twitter @cjeter

I have a twitter and it does get obsessive to see what people wrote. I think it's to see if people agree with you. I read it but I don't respond to it. I barely even tweet.
