Have you noticed odd respones of movie audiences to "American Hussle" and "Wolves..." ?
If you've seen "American Hussle" and 'Wolves of W.S' in movie theaters, has audience response bothered you? I'm wondering if it's a function of the city I'm in. There seems to be laughter at inappropriate times - times of violence, etc., etc. The dialog about little people in "Wolves of Wall Street" was particularly despicable, but there was great laughter in the theater. I was shocked! Maybe it's the writing itself where the lines between comedy and tragedy are uncharacteristically blurred. What is it that seems a bit skewed in these types of films right now?
