Have you seen the preview to "The Giver"? What do you think about it?
"The Giver", written by Lois Lowry, was adapted into a movie that comes out in theaters Aug 15. If you have read the book are you disappointed about how you think they have filmed it?
I do rememeber reading the book when I was in middle school and I was shocked when I saw how the movie adaptation was being portrayed. It seemed to be far different than I recall, however, it has been a few years since I had read the book. I plan on re-reading the book before the film is released in August so that I can compare on a fresher memory.
I read it years ago when my kids did. Loved it. Have reread it several times. Listen to it on a book on CD. You'll pick up things you didn't read. No, the movie is nothing like the book, and I'm upset. I've been waiting years for this movie.

Would you rather read the book, see the movie, or do both? And which would you do first?With so many books made into movies, it seems that people either read the book or go see the movie. Some also do both. I would prefer to read the book first and then see the movie.

Angels and demons was a really great movie. Tom Hanks has done his job really well and the story is awesome. I was amazed by the beauty of Vatican city. The movie is a mixture of Action and suspense. You'll love it for sure...
