Seems like a reasonable choice, given the odious circumstances of his death.
Is this the most consequential story of the year? Or persons?
I would have chosen Brett Kavanaugh...his appointment would have long lasting impact for many years...changing the balance of the Supreme court...and affecting many issues.
My second choice would be Robert Mueller. His 2 year investigation has put a cloud over the Trump administration.

Even though the system, as currently configured, worked in the case of the Orlando Terrorist, if one of the more popular gun regulations had not been stopped by the NRA & friends, how many people, now dead, would have been alive? One of the more sensible and less intrusive regulations...

News out today that the British version of the Readers Digest has gone into administration. It has been published since 1938.I used to love that magazine, even though I haven't seen a copy for years.Sorry to hear there won't be any more.

If the US Government gave you a choice to where to send your tax dollars, where would you choose?Naturally the Government would say to Washington. WITH THE MONEY IN WASHINGTON, which party do you believe would do a better job of managing the funds AND WHY do you select that party..
