Would it be disrespectful to recast Black Panther?

According to some fans that I've talked to about this, they claim recasting Black Panther aka T'Challa in the Marvel movies would be very disrespectful to Chadwick Boseman in light of the fact that he died recently of colon cancer.   While I do offer my sincerest condolences to Boseman's friends and family during this time, I don't see how recasting his character is in anyway disrespectful as it's just a fictional character.  Was it disrespectful to Christopher Reeves that Henry Cavill was cast to play Superman long after he was dead?  Was it disrespectful to Adam West that Ben Affleck got cast to be Batman after he died?   Granted, there were several other actors that played both Superman and Batman prior to both Reeves' and West's death, but still.

Black Panther is a legacy character that will live on to be played by other actors.  Seriously, does anyone honestly think that over 50 to 100 years from now, and assuming movies and mankind still exist, that nobody is ever going to play black panther again?  Seriously?   Anyone who thinks that is naive

While I am sorry to hear that Boseman died, I think it would be a huge mistake to not recast his character.  But instead, many fans want to see T'Challa aka Black Panther die off screen, or have CGI show him being killed in Black Panther 2 so his sister can take over the mantle because that would be much more respectful in their eyes.

Personally, I think this is laughably stupid, and to anyone who wants to see Black Panther's sister take over the mantle because god forbid any other black guy ever play T'Challa aka Black Panther again because he's the only guy in the world that can play that character right? To those people I say, grow up.

This is all fiction.  People aren't stupid.   Legacy characters get recast all the freaking time.  Seriously, we've had several different people play Wonder Woman, Superman, Spider-Man, Flash, Batman, Supergirl, Cat Woman, and etc...the list goes on and on.  People need to stop holding onto this idea that each iconic character can only be played by one actor.  That's dumb.   However, what are your thoughts?  You think it's disrespectful to Chadwick Boseman for ANYONE else to  play his character now that he's dead?  Or do you think they should just recast? Please discuss.
