In the US for a visit and shocked by the amount of drug ads during the nightly news program. Its uncomfortable to watch as all the ads "bait" people - "Do you like sleeping, you may be suffering from a serious condition". How many drug ads do you think is too much?
TV shows that used to be 50 minutes long with 10 minutes of ads, are presently about 35-42 minutes long, with ads the rest of the time.
Advertising on TV is and has been too much for years now. But, what do you expect from a corrupted government, who wants people believing that there is something wrong with them(the people), and wants them to turn to prescription drugs.
Example: My mother has a hole in her heart, which can be fixed with a simple surgery, however, the insurance company refuses to allow her surgery, because it can be treated and monitored through the use of prescription drugs.
The level of corruption, between business and government, is absolutely absurd.
Was the Republicans I believe who ended
the time restrictions on advertising per hour. I don't watch the networks - too much advertising plus only crap.

My new hub has had advertising automatically disabled. As far as I can tell, it does not violate Adsense policy. Who should I contact? Is it Maddie?

I have a hub about homosexuality in monarch butterflies with ads for books on Amazon about homosexuality in animals, however, ads have been disabled and in the warning why details it says: "Because this Hub was identified manually, and not through our automatic filter, this status will not...

Mornin all.I published a hub this morning and because the subject was an alternative use for a medication, all the ads were for the drug's traditional use.So, I went through and removed the drug's name as much as possible, while trying to make sure it still made sense. There are only a couple...

I started to wonder about this when one of my most recent hubs regarding the use of aborted fetuses in testing of certain products had all of the advertising removed. I started to look to see if it was the same for pro-Abortion Hubs and I found that those hubs still have advertising. ...
