Looking For The Best Movie Blog?

What do you get when you put a movie-loving adult female mom online? Why lots of movie pages, of course, and eventually a movie blog.

That is my story in a nutshell. I am an eBay power seller who eventually started writing on a platform called Squidoo in an effort to promote my eBay store. However, I enjoyed writing online so much that I was soon writing about subjects that were totally unrelated to my eBay offerings.

And yes, you guessed it, those subjects include movies and, once I found myself immersed in the world of HDTV and blu-ray technology at home, lots and lots of blu-ray movies.

I thank you for visiting this page where I'll tell you a little bit about my movie blog, one of the best movie blogs online. (Okay, I might be just a teeny tiny bit biased.) I will also share with you some of my movie pages and a few of my secrets in the form of some of the best movie resources on line. If you think my movie blog is something you are interested in, I'd be thrilled to have you follow me or even subscribe to my posts. Just follow the link:

Who Writes Blu-ray Movie Treasures By Brenda?

Yes, that's right, it's me. I've already told you a bit about myself in my introduction but I thought it might be helpful to know a bit more about who I am.

I was an ultra conservative movie mom when my boys were young. I was extremely careful about what I shared with my children because so many movies simply are not child friendly. I used a lot of resources (fewer were available online then) and was even known to preview a movie before I let my children watch it.

My boys are almost grown up now. They're typical teenage guys at 17 and 18 years of age. Their ages mean that the types of movies we watch has expanded, of course,

In our house, we will watch almost anything from animated movies, dramas and love stories to action-packed adventure stories. We love new movies but we also enjoy old classics, and everything in between. We're particularly thrilled when a classic movie is remade and remade well for blu-ray. We go to the movie theatre occasionally, some of us more often than others.

Given the nature of our household, you never know who might be watching...it could be just me enjoying the latest Hallmark movie, period movie or chick flick although two of my three will occasionally watch with me or it could be two, three or more rarely four of us watching one of the best car chase movies ever.

My purpose in giving you these details is just to let you know a little bit about what you might find on my blog, about my style and my preferred movie genres. Although I would say I like almost all movie types but I am less likely to watch an R movie because of violence or sexuality.

I hope this information is helpful.

Blu-Ray does bring a whole new dimension to watching movies - but I fear it is being eclipsed by video streaming and on-demand video. Blue Ray generally offers better picture.

I enjoy reading your reviews because they give me the nitty-gritty without giving the plot away. Nothing worse than reading a review that "tells" everything.
