Smiles of sunshine
Smiles of sunshine that brightens the heart on a cold day
Whispers with lips that flatters the soul
Before a fireplace that heats flames long forgotten
As romance blooms once more
Sits two lovers escaping the world
To find peace
Now that they have reached maturity
A house that once danced with actions
Is now a sanctuary of serenity
Where children great and grand come to play
If only for one day
Love spent with laughter-brings tears
And joy for one day
This would all be a memory of events
Filled with stories but life is loved
So it is lived to it's fullest
As they give thanks for all they have
Knowing there are those
Who have not
See this world is not theirs to save
But they give and they gave
Because they were blessed with money
