Welcome to life my child.
I'm a man swelling with pride and joy right now (Stevie Ray Vaughn anyone?). With the announcement of my baby on the way I couldn't help but want to commemorate this with a poem.
God has blessed us so much with this and it's definitely a redemption from things that have happened in my very very dark and sordid past. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be the father that mine wouldn't.........well it was 13 years ago....and I lost him, my brother and 3 sisters because of a hard decision (not deceased that I know of but something else). Anyway, I hope you enjoy this.
For kellyteam, 10 minute hub?
My heart on a platter.
I've been waiting for a long long time.......
To see your heart beat next to mine.
Now with this, I can't ignore
What I've been put here for.
I will never leave your side
As my own dad did mine.....
I know what I've been put here for
Arms wide open for support.
It's so funny, don't you know,
My old life ended long ago.
Many years I walked in darkness.
Having all that I ever wanted.
But that was all just a lie,
Full of hate and not alive.
Thank you God for your front door,
That gave me life when I was poor.
I'm so much stronger than before.
I know now why I survived.
To welcome this life into the world.
To love, protect, bless, and hold.
This young child of mine
I will never leave your side.
For the Lord has shown the way
I'm to love you every day.
Evil will never come near
Because Daddy is always here.
Never turning you away,
Live my child....love every day.
Did your heart leap for joy when you saw your child on Ultrasound for the first time?
Poetry of life.
Final thoughts.
Excitement abounds.
Kasman will be back with another hub soon.
