My stepson is 9, I have been in his life since he was 3. His daddy and I have 2 other boys together and we have been married since April of 2013. I want to adopt him and make it official as his mother isn't in the picture. I am wondering if any of you have gone thru this.

Do blended families ever truly blend?My sister is dealing with trying to make it work with a step-daughter whose upbringing is much different than that of her own. ie morals, faith, discipline....Any tips would be most helpful.
