My stepson is 9, I have been in his life since he was 3. His daddy and I have 2 other boys together and we have been married since April of 2013. I want to adopt him and make it official as his mother isn't in the picture. I am wondering if any of you have gone thru this.

My step-kids are reaching the driving age. They both live with their mother. So, what are the general guidelines for auto insurance? We put the oldest one on our insurance as an occasional driver.
