Hi, I am doing a speech in college on the problems, solutions, and actions of child poverty .Can you
History always repeats its self and poverty is the one thing that has a real problem at its feet (children). In third world countries such as US the trickle down effects of economical disasters are prone to destroy a childs life.
One example of this would be the immediate displacement of the child from their parents due to a declaration of social services programs that have more rights over children than biological parents. An economic state of emergency has caused the seperation of children and parent and parent from state rights.
During the great depression this also happened to many thousands of children who lost their parents permanently due to the horrific economy and the heartless nation who stands by and lets the chips fall where they may.
We can't stand by and let this kind of history repeat itself again.
