If such shows as Teen Mom and 16 & pregnant are supposed to stop teen pregnancies how do they...
I think they try to show teenagers that raising a child at a young age is very difficult. But in reality I think they kind of glamorize it making teenagers think it may be cool to have a baby. I was 21 when my daughter was born and it was hard then, I can't imagine being 16. My cousin was 17 when she had her first and she struggled tremendously with finishing high school and working to support her baby. My advice would be wait to have kids. Enjoy your childhood!! Not everything on tv is what it seems. Some of the girls on Teen Mom appear to have their lives together, but remember we don't see everything that happens when the cameras are not rolling!!!

Has teen pregnancy become glamorized by television? Let me know what you think!Think of shows such as 16 and Pregnant, Teen Mom, Teen Mom 2, etc. Maybe it's just me, but I strongly believe that television shows such as these (reality- I might add!) are glamorizing teen pregnancy.
