   Has teen pregnancy become glamorized by television? Let me know what you think!
   
   Think of shows such as 16 and Pregnant, Teen Mom, Teen Mom 2, etc. Maybe it's just me, but I strongly believe that television shows such as these (reality- I might add!) are glamorizing teen pregnancy.

   I agree.  They all seem like trailer trash too!  The drama seems to be made up sometimes also!

   Slightly glamorized. Also it is considered more normal and not as shunned as before. Which is kind of sad.

   I hope the intent of these shows on MTV, a channel popular with young people, was to portray a true picture of how hard it is to have a child so young.  I read somewhere that the statistics of teenage pregnancy in the US have decreased since 16 and Pregnant began its run.

   though people will say these shows are trying to push the negative side of teen pregnancies, they must be blind or stupid to think that works. some people will do anything to be on tv and others want to be like any celebrity they see. reality tv in general is turning people into morons.

   I love Teen Mom in the same way I love Jerry Springer- I don't think there's anything glamorous about it.  Of course I'm not the target audience...

   Definitely glamorized! 
   
   I'm in my thirties, have a college degree, a full-time job and a toddler and these teen moms live better than I do!
   
   They have newer cars than me, the newest name brand clothes and accessories, and of course they all have the newest I-phones and laptops!
   
   They do all have struggles, but I am sure that some teens will do what it takes to get on the show!
