What funny quote about ambition has your child told you?
When my youngest daughter was 4 yrs. old, after hearing a Sunday mass and walking down the street, I asked her what she wanted to be when she grows up. Her reply goes like this: "I want to be a CHURCH COLLECTOR!" I didn't know what she meant by it so I asked her again, "Why a church collector?" She excitedly answered back and said, "Because people give me money and I will be RICH!"
My son recently told me he wanted to be president so he could be in the newspaper. Too bad for him "newspapers" will just be relics of a day gone by by the time he's old enough to be president!
When my son was about six, he told me that he was going to be a doctor during the day and give free service to elderly people. (He loves them -- that is awesome) And then he said he was going to be a truckdriver at night in order to have income. I said that was admirable but he would be a one tired person!
