What's the best advice you've ever received on how to bring up your child?
To love them unconditionally.
To be honest and upfront with them about everything.
To let them make some of their own choices instead of harping about mine and to let them be creative pursuing a dream of their own instead of me trying to live mine vicariously through them.
Finally that although my choices in styles, music, and beliefs may be different if they are not harmful I can just agree to disagree.
Never take it personally! As they turn to the waging hormones of teens, this is invaluable advice:)
The best advice I got was to let them be them. Dont rstrict them from trying new things bu to keep a close eye so they dont get hurt. If you shelter your child they wont learn valuable life lessons.
In a way that is unconditionally loving and accepting. I think this is the best advice I have been given on how to raise my children.
