I went to see my papa today and he was asleep...he's been asleep since they gave him something yesterday because he was agitated. And yes he did have anotehr stroke so they will have to assess him and see physically and speech wise where he is...and he has to go back on puree food, which he totally hated the first time around.
But sadly I have a feeling in my heart that he won't make it this time around. He is so much weaker than the first time and he didn't look good at all when I visited him.
Thanks friends for the sweet words and the prayers.
Thanks guys I really appreciate it. I'm doing my best to stay strong...
My friend staying strong is okay but you dont need to be a rock.
Make sure you take time for yourself. I am finding out how important that is right now
It's always difficult to watch a loved one move on up with age. A comforting thought is to remember all the earlier years and how much that person did to make you who you are today. By looking at it in these terms, you can see just how much work this person did to better your life and others and you can understand why such a great person is wanted as much in heaven as here down on Earth ...
Very true Yoshi very true thanks for thsoe kind words, sweety
Prayers and love headed your way and may strength and wisdom rain down on all of the doctors, nurses and staff who are taking care of him. Blessings to your family in these difficult times.
I am so sorry to hear of your fathers ailments. I will pray for his quick and strong recovery, or the Lord takes him quietly and peacefully.
Hang in there.
thanks Sooner I definitely appreciate the prayers for no suffering it is his time go go..oh and papa is my grandpa.

What do you say when you appreciate someone or something??We often hear that a positive attitude makes a difference. When a person is grateful, they make the choice to see the positive in a situation. How do your words when you need to be grateful ???

I wasn't sure where to make this post. I thought maybe I should just pop it under the food thread but it seemed cowardly. I considered posting it under the health section, but that felt like admitting defeat. I thought of posting this in the christian living forum, but was too certain it would...

How is this done? I notice so many people in their profiles inviting people to start writing hubpages and inviting them to click on their link to "start writing here." Please advise and thanks!
