Do you allow your children to have tv, computer(s), or other electronic devices in their bedrooms?
No, we had the TV in the living room and the computer was close by. That way we could keep an eye on things and spend time as a family too.
No, we didn't until my eldest turn 19, we let her use her laptop in her room. Her doors are always open.... We don't have a TV, we took it out long time ago, and my kids are fine with it. They are all vivid readers..... Most of them have iPods with age restriction, and no YouTube!
Your kids will likely object but it's so much easier to keep an eye on their screen time if it's somewhere within your viewing area. Plus, do you really want to have your child spend so much time in his/her room? Wouldn't it be better to have him/her a bit more engaged with the family?
my daughter has a small tv in her bedroom but her grandmother uses it all the time. Both of them shared the same room. The notebook is in my room which my hubby, my toddler and I shared together. We couldn't put the notebook in the living room because it is way to far from the bedroom. If my toddler cries, I couldn't hear him.
