How far is too far when a toddler is getting to know their body?
My 18 mth old has discovered her private parts. She spends most of her day naked because of potty training. I often catch her sticking her finger in there. I don't want to make her insecure by fussing but I am unsure what should be allowed and what shouldn't. She isn't trying to gain pleasure or anything, it simply like any other hole in her body. So what do I do? Nothing? Or should I say something?
As a mother of 3 - boys and girls, I have been through this a few times! You are best to ignore it..if you react, they will keep doing it to get the reaction, especially if they think it's wrong in any way. Good luck!

How far is too far for a day trip?If you don't want to spend the night somewhere, how far is too far for just a day trip? We are considering making a 3 1/2 hour drive to the beach spending 3-5 hours there then making the ride back. Too far with kids? Would it be too far for you?
