    Well, it depends upon if you are a morning person. When my children were young, I got as much done the night before as possible. Example: took out their clothes for next day, made sure backpacks were packed, and signed permission slips, etc. However, because I am a morning person, I normally begin my day a couple of hours before my children out of bed. Cooked breakfast, packed lunches and so on. I hate traffic so I would tried leaving for work before traffic is bad. It didn't always work out but that was the plan. Hope this helps!

      Thanks! My plan is pretty much the same except being a morning person. Like you said, some times things just don't always work like you plan them (especially with kids). I need to set my leave time earlier because I never factor in traffic.

    I also say do what you can the night before, and/or have a list of what you need so that you don't forget. I am NOT a morning person so this really helps me!!

    I hate being rushed in the morning when I can barely function. I always choose my clothing and have everything set out, clean underwear out on the dresser, so once I am out of the shower, I can just grab everything, eat and go.
