What Nature or Nurture Goes Into Shaping a Child into A Destructive Cult Leader?
What behaviours or role modelling could have been enforced or done by known or unknown default actions that have resulted in this cult leadership style?
Scientology was founded by a man who said the best way to get rich was by founding a religion, due to its tax exempt status.
Others founded religions to privilege their sexual access, such as Mohammed saying Muslim men could have up to four wives and unlimited sex slaves, though he could have more wives (over a dozen) and had first pick of the captured women.
Maybe the child learnt to detect the weaknesses in others and manipulate those in others to grow a sense of power that may have been robbed of hin/her as a child. Possibly the child/adult had a streak of Will and independence that was nurtured.
