Do you believe that children (up to 3 years) sense things we are not even aware of?

In my experience, children in their non indocrinated way, naturally have heightened awareness/senses until they are made wrong or fearful by their parents. To me, children are born aware, sensitive and truthful until we (our culture) damage the children with our own ego's, fears and insecurities. We need to encourage their sensitivities;  and, let them know that they will need to learn when, where or with whom, to share their sensitivities with.

No they are not extra-sensory or super-special. They simply haven't applied the verbal and thought filters society puts on them.

Agree about filters, but still, I think that they are somehow more open, aware, mindful ... yes, simply because they are children, not marked by the world yet.
