1940 US Census

    Anybody have any luck accessing the newly released 1940 US Census? I tried for three hours and got nothing.

      I tried this morning also and watching the opening speech at NARA at 8:30 AM, but couldn't access anything. I figured I would try again later. I had copied down the 1930 ED's for my people as that is the way you should be able to access the correct district where your family lived. They say it will be 41 yr. before all the names are entered.

        41 years? Holy smokes! I saw a chart that is tracking the progress of the upload and it looks like it's moving along rather quickly.
