Ultimate 3 Minute Chocolate Brownies

Chocolate Brownies are a great snack food for parties, or just dessert fun. There are many recipes on the Internet which are tasty and great, however they all take time. What if you want a great chocolate brownie recipe and you only have 3 minutes. Problem solved.

Ingredients (serves 2, or 1 pig)

  • 4 Decently heaped TBSPs of Self Raising Flour
  • 4 TBSPs of sugar
  • 2 TBSPs of Cocoa (if using hot chocolate mix, use 3 TBSPs)
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 TBSPs Milk
  • 3 TBSPs of Oil
  • 1 Decent Sized Mug

3 Minute Brownie Recipe

1, Add and mix the self raising flour, sugar and cocoa. If you are using a hot chocolate mix, like Galaxy or Dairymilk, then add an extra tablespoon as the chocolate flavour will be quite weak without it.

2, Add the egg, and lightly stir. Just get a bit on consistency.

3, Add the milk and the oil into the cup. Mix it really well with the spoon. It will start to get very thick. Make sure you scrap the bottom of the cup, as it gets thick at the bottom.

4, Put in the microwave, for 3 minutes on 1000w, or 3 1/2min on 900w. During cooking the brownie will rise out of the cup. It does this quite early, don't worry and still give it the full 3 minutes.

5, MUG WILL BE HOT! Take care with gloves, and take out. Spoon the brownie into a plate, or let cool and eat striaght form the mug!

There you go. A simple tasty snack! Obviously they arent as great as "real" brownies, but they take virtually no time, and taste lovely. Want to mix it up? Try adding grated chocolate, or chocolate chips in the mix. Post your pics of your 3 minute brownie attempts in the comments!

What a great idea, when you don't have time to make brownies or you don't want to make a pan-ful because you would be tempted to eat 3 or 4.
