7 Easy Snacks with Ritz Crackers

Updated on June 26, 2017

Best. Snack. Ever.

Seriously, Ritz crackers are a complete game changer. This buttery, flakey, All-American classic cracker is a must-have staple in any household. Whether you are planning a family gathering, church picnic, camping trip or you are just in the mood for a quick, easy and completely satisfying snack, Ritz crackers will not disappoint.

This small, but mighty list of snack combinations, is only the start to what you can create with little time, effort and cash. Each of these combinations are kid-tested and approved. Let me also add, that yours truly (yes, that's me) devours these Ritz cracker combinations on a consistent basis.

Caution! Recipe Combinations Ahead. Proceed Carefully.

  1. Buffalo Chicken Bites

-1 Boneless and skinless chicken breast fully cooked and finely chopped.

-3 tablespoons of sour cream (any kind is fine).

-1 Teaspoon of hot sauce

-Ritz Crackers

-¼ cup of crumbled blue cheese

-Combine the first three ingredients and mix.

-Spoon onto cracker

-Show some love with a little sprinkle of crumbled blue cheese.

That's it. Yes, please!

Baked Mozzarella Bites

- 1 8oz block of mozzarella cheese

- Ritz crackers

- 1 cup of Spaghetti sauce

- Cut cheese crosswise into 15 separate slices

- Cut the 15 slices in half

- Sandwich the cheese between the two crackers

- Bake on low heat in oven until for 8 minutes or until the cheese melts well.

- Place spaghetti sauce in a separate bowl and place in microwave to heat.

This is a fun movie night snack. Serve the crackers on a platter with a side of sauce for dipping. Yum!

Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches

- Peanut Butter

- Jelly

- Ritz crackers

- Using your favorite peanut butter and jelly, spread each onto a cracker.

- Smoosh the two together.

Enjoy your yummy and fun peanut butter and jelly cracker sandwich. This is my ultimate favorite snack for those ridiculous sweet cravings I get on a constant basis.

Blueberry Bites

- Ritz crackers

- Cream cheese

- Blueberries (Fresh or Frozen, but thawed)

- Spread cream cheese onto cracker

- Top with the blueberries

Yep, that’s it, now EAT!

Stack and Serve Sandwiches

- Lunch meat

- Cheese

- Lettuce

- Tomato

- Condiments

- Using your favorite sandwich ingredients (cut to size), literally, stack and serve your sandwiches any which way you please.

Spinach and Crab Dip with Ritz

- 1 Package of Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix

- 1 (10 oz) package of frozen spinach, thawed and drained

- 1 1/2 c Sour Cream

- 1 c Mayo

- Imitation crab meat

- 4 or 5 green onions, chopped

- Ritz Cracker

In a bowl, dump your Knorr vegetable recipe mix, sour cream, mayo and spinach. Mix those together thoroughly.

Add your green onions and imitation crab meat to the bowl and mix.

Once thoroughly mixed, your dip is complete. You can place in the fridge or continue to serve along side some Ritz crackers.

Serving tip:

Using a serving platter, lay out crackers and top with the dip mixture.

This stuff is absolutely amazing and is a solid no-fail option.

Chocolate Dipped RItz

- Ritz Crackers

- oil or lard

- chocolate chips or melting candy

Place chocolate in a microwave safe bowl with a tablespoon of oil or lard.

Heat in 30 second intervals until chocolate is completely melted and creamy.

Dip half of the Ritz cracker into the chocolate and place on wax paper to cool and set.

That's it. Once chocolate is set, you can transfer these to a serving dish or bowl. This salty, buttery, sweet snack is pure sin. Be careful, this one is addicting.

Don't be Shy... Get you a Bite!

These bite-sized bits of heaven are true lifesavers. Regardless if you are pinched for time or even money, these snacks will come through for you each and every time. The best part is some of the combinations are savory enough to completely satisfy you, even served as your dinner.

Picky kid tested, tired, overworked, cranky- mom approved, Ritz crackers are so versatile that you can truly create something magical with these things. Let me know which combos you have tried, as I am always looking for ideas on feeding my bunch.

Serving Tips

Did you know that you can jazz your Ritz cracker snacks up? Think presentation. That's right, if you are unsure as to whether your guests will be drawn to try one of these scrumptious snacks, think about how you are laying it out for them.

For instance, use a serving platter and place it in the center of your table to draw attention. Place table décor, or even napkins and plates next to the serving dish to ensure these sinful bites are not looked over.

You're very welcome. I love Ritz crackers. I am just a finger food lover. That is a shame about the wheat version. There are some store brands that do still have the wheat crackers though. Have you tried them?

I am a Ritz crackers fan. A year ago I was enjoying very much their whole wheat version but they have discontinued them :(, those were even nicer, I ate them as a mid-morning, mid-afternoon snack, it’s a pity I can´t do it anymore....

Thanks for your Ritz snack ideas.

Thanks! And, those Buffalo Chicken bites are very tasty! I am such a grab and go person that these are wonderful treats and suprisingly filling. They are also great, as I have a toddler and it's not so messy for her. By the way, those cheese and jalapeno bites sound delish too! Thanks for reading!
