Antipasto Plates
Antipasto Dishes
There is no recipe; just some ingredients listed in this hub. What you see is what you get. These antipasto dishes are made up by my daughter, Shelly, every year for Christmas Eve when we have at least 27 family members over. I buy the ingredients and she makes them up and that job is worth it's weight in gold. It takes her some time because she wants them to look perfect. She has a knack for creating pretty food dishes.
I get most of the ingredients in an Italian Deli in my town. Some of them they make themselves. I make other things on Christmas Eve also like sausage roll, fried smelts, cold shrimp and other people bring food too. All my Christmas cookies are brought out with coffee for dessert. I love these pictures so I just wanted to share them with you, it may give you an idea of what you could do too. You could just serve these alone with some delicious crusty Italian bread and that would be great too. I glass of wine goes very nice with these dishes too.
Mangiare Buono!
Some of the Ingredients
Prociutto, Lonza, Ham Capacolla, Genoa Salami, Cooked Ham, Sweet and Hot Supersatta, Pepperoni, Black Peppercorn Cheese, Provolone Cheese, Cheddar Cheese, Pepperoncini, Artichoke Hearts, Stuffed Olives, Black Olives, Black Cured Olives, Anchovies and whatever else you would like to add.
That's part of the beauty of these dishes; you put in them whatever you want to and like the most and arrange then however you like. Let your creative juices flow. They are good for any occasion.
