5 stars from 3 ratings of Sunday Football Dips

With Football Season returning recently, I am not sure about your house, but know that in my house Sundays will consist of Football to some degree on our TV. See my husband is a huge football fan and even though I am not, I can't pass up the food that ends up being made and eaten too on Sundays during Football Season. Usually at the start of the football game, we want to have some appetizers ready for munching on. These appetizers are usually chips, crackers, bread or veggies, so we usually will make a dip to go along with them. The dip we make depends on which one of these we are eating.

So in this article, I am sharing the top three dips that we usually make in our home for football game viewing on Sundays in the fall and winter too. Hope you too will try to enjoy them as much as we do and as they say, "Now are you ready for some football!"

Boy, I wish I came across this a few weeks ago. My husband is a football fanatic. How true it is being hard to pass on the munchies that always seem to accompany football Sunday. Thanks for the ideas. I'll definitely give them a go. All the best, Kim.

Oh thank you so very much livewithrichard. You are like my husband with the love of spicy to anything. He would add cayenne pepper to anything I would let him, but I guess it is just a bit too hot for me though. But I do hope you try and enjoy it. Thank you so much again :) :)

Great dips here. I do a variation of the Mexican taco dip but my favorite so far is a Buffalo Chicken Dip I make. I'm going to try your artichoke dip this weekend, it sounds really tasty. I'll try it your way but I always seem to add a bit of cayenne pepper to all my dips. Guess I just like it spicy. Up and useful... thanks.

Mary, I know exactly what you mean. I have a hard time making up my mind to begin with (my husband has been quoted as saying I am the most indecisive person!). So choosing one for me who be hard too, because I have made them all and loved them all for different reasons. That said though I could understand you leaning towards the Mexican Dip, because I love Mexican Food period!! Seriously, thank you for the votes and share too!!

Well, I couldn't decide which dip I would like better; I think I would like them all. I like all these flavors.

I think I'd like Mexican best of all, though.

I voted this Hub UP, etc. and will share.

I'm not going to lie- I don't like football all that much. So when I would watch the game with friends- the food was the fun part for me. And I won't turn down a good set of chips and dip- these recipes look delicious! Great hub!

Dianna, I too love artichoke and to be honest ate them cooked whole as a little girl. I am Italian and my dad would always cook them stuffed with breadcrumbs just like my grandmother did when he was kid. So I am huge fan of artichokes from way back :) Thank you though for the comment and continually supporting me too :)

All wonderful dips, but my vote goes to the artichoke. I love the taste of this veggie. Football is always better when food such as this is served!
