Baked Acorn Squash Recipe
I have in my pantry several different kinds of squash. So I decided to find a recipe that would tell me how to eat an acorn squash. I found this recipe but decided to use the ingredients but not the measure. So this is my version of the recipe. I made this for Christmas Day. My husband is going on a vegan diet so this would be great for him.
It turned out great. The next time I make this, I will experiment with other spices. I hope you liked this recipe.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or longer.
Ingredients
Olive or Avocado Oil
Salt
Pepper
Acorn Squash
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
On a cutting board, cut the squash in half. Scoop out the middle.
Place the two halves in a shallow baking dish. Pour the oil on the cut half and in the middle of the squash. Use as much as you want. I just poured my oil on.
Then season with salt and pepper.
Pour some water in the pan so it won't get burned while baking. Then place in oven.
Bake for about 30 minutes or longer.
Take out of oven. Then place on a platter and eat.
