Baked Potato Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Take a walk down memory lane, do you remember the delicious scent of Grilled Cheese wafting through the air? Filling your home and making your mouth water for it's cheesy goodness? Well this classic has been made over and let me tell you it is even more amazing!
Ingredients
- 2-3 Strips Bacon
- 2 Slices Thick Bread, (Such as French Bread or Sour Dough)
- 1 Potato
- 2 Tablespoons Sour Cream
- Butter
- Canola Oil
- Garlic Powder
- Salt
- Pepper
- Green Onion
- Chives
Instructions
- First lightly coat the bottom of a pan with Canola Oil (Vegetable Oil or Butter will also work.)
- Slice your Potato up into 4 to 5 slices per sandwich and place then in your pan and cook until they are crispy and brown. Add in Salt and Pepper and a pinch of Garlic Powder which cooking for taste.
- In a separate pan cook your Bacon until it suits your personal tastes. (I like mine to be pretty crispy.)
- Slice up your bread (you'll want a crusty bread) and add a decent coating of butter on the outside of each piece. On the inside part you'll want to add about 1 Teaspoon or so of sour cream to each. Also add a slice or two of Cheddar Cheese on both.
- Place your cooked Potato Slices on top of the Cheddar and Sour Cream a put a dab more of Sour Cream on top of them. Now sprinkle some Chives and Slice up a Green Onion Stalk and spread it on that. Lastly is the Bacon! Put bacon strips on and top with your bread.
- All that's left is to grill it! Grill until each side is a golden brown and eat it up! :) Enjoy!
