About the Author

After spending several years working in finance, Chocolate for Breakfast author Barbara Passino decided to follow her heart and enter the hospitality industry. She is the owner of Oak Knoll Inn in Napa Valley, California, where she also handles chef duties. She's a self-proclaimed chocolate zealot whose love affair with this tasty and delicious food began at a very early age. Passino's appreciation for chocolate began with her first bite of solid food – a brownie – and continued throughout her life. As she discovered that many of Oak Knoll Inn's patrons shared her love of all things chocolate, she began incorporating chocolate into items on the breakfast menu. That's where the idea for Chocolate for Breakfast began. And now, you can learn from her experience and create tasty chocolate recipes for your own friends and family to enjoy!
