About Slow Cooker Winners

Slow cookers have long been among the most popular small kitchen appliances among busy home cooks. If you’re looking for a way to save time when preparing meals without making the same few slow cooker recipes that you’ve always prepared over and over, Slow Cooker Winners is surely to quickly become one of your favorite cookbooks.

The book is packed with tasty and delicious recipes that include options certain to appeal to every member of your household. The options provided aren’t don’t call for overpriced ingredients that you’ll have a hard time finding in your local store. However, they’re not just the “same-old, same-old” dishes that you’ve always made recycled in a different way, either.

Examples of a few of the more interesting and delicious dishes you’ll learn how to make when you read this book include:

  • Buffalo Chicken and Potatoes
  • Creamy Caramel Blondies
  • Cheesy White Bean and Artichoke Dip
  • Cherry Vanilla Irish Oatmeal
  • Hole Mole Chili
  • Hot Curried Beans
  • Mexican Brisket
  • Philly Cheese and Beef Casserole
  • Quick Coconut Chicken Curry
  • Saucy Pepper Pork
  • Sweet-and-Sour Thai Shrimp Stew
  • Spanish Chicken with Chickpeas
  • Many additional recipes

Expert Advice for Busy Home Cooks

Slow Cooker Winners: 300 Easy and Satisfying Recipes is the brain-child of Donna-Maria Pye, professional home economist, recipe developer and food writer. The expertise of the author is evident in this book, both in terms of the wide variety of dishes for which instructions are provided (many with an international flair!) and the quality of the slow cooker tips and suggestions spread throughout the book.

As soon as you start using this book, you’ll be able to put the author’s insights to work in your own kitchen – something you’re sure to be glad that you did!

Note: Thanks to Robert Rose, Inc. (publisher of the book) for providing me with a review copy to peruse.

    Morning MG.

A very interesting read and full of info.

Being a team that are retired we have plenty of time on our hands and don't have to start on the evening meal after arriving home from work.

I see the the benifits of the slow cooker and a change in variety of what we eat is always good and doesn't get boring.

Take care and have a nice day.
