Creamy Green Peas is a new recipe, which I tried recently and it really works. It is quite different from other Green Peas Recipe because of the paste form of Peas. I learned this recipe from one popular cooking show in Bengali. Try out this easy peas creamy recipe, an easy and healthy dish enjoys with Butter Rotis.

Ingredients

  • 400 gm Fresh Green Peas
  • 4-5 Black pepper seed
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
  • 2-3 tbsp Fresh Cream
  • Salt & Sugar, As per taste
  • 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves
  • 3 Green Chilli
  • 3 tbsp Sinflower Oil
  • 1 cup Pomegranate Seed
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder

Procedure

  1. First boil the green peas using pressure cooker. Divides them into two parts. Keep aside one part of boil green peas.
  2. Put the other part of the green peas in a mixer and make a smooth paste of it.
  3. Make a smooth paste of coriander leaves and green chiili
  4. Add oil in a pan and put the black peper seeds.Add the Green Peas paste and boil green peas.Saute for sometimes.
  5. Add salt-sugar-black pepper powder and turmeric powder.Mix well.cook for 2-3 mins.
  6. Add Coriander and green chili paste and cook for 4-5 mins.
  7. Add Fresh cream and cook for 2 mins.Add small amount of pomegranate and mix well.
  8. Creamy Green peas are ready to serve.Garnish it with pomegranate
  9. Serve with simple/ Butter Roti.

How to Select your Green Peas and How to use

## Always fresh peas are better than frozen or canned green peas.Beside if you have no option to get fresh green peas then frozen green peas are better over canned one.

## When you buy canned or frozen peas, please check the sodium level .Don't buy frozen or canned peas whose sodium level are greater than 50%.

## Rinse well before use, it helps to reduce the sodium level.

## At the time of purchasing fresh peas, Check whose pods is smooth and stiff.Avoid dark green ,whitish and yellow color green peas.
