Easy Pasta Dough Made at Home
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- as needed flour, for kneading and rolling
- 16 each egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Mix the flours in a mixing bowl using a fork or whisk. Place flour mixture on a dry surface. Form the flour into a mound and create a well. Add the eggs, and olive oil to the center of the well. Gently beat the eggs without affecting the flour. Slowly incorporate the flour into the eggs and knead the dough until it comes together. Form it into a ball and and knead the dough. Form into a ball to finish.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap, and let it rest for half an hour at room temperature. When ready to use, roll out the dough on a floured surface, into long thin sheets either by hand or with floured rolling pin.
- Note: This recipe should be multiplied if preparing for large gathering.
