So, Fast And Easy Cooks MUST learn to improve having the basic ingredients on hand at all times. This is what will help you to be FAST, making it easier on you! So, plan just a little for your simple life in the kitchen...

Hi -

Are you a lazy cook like me? Watch it! I only admitted to being "lazy" with my desire to spend too much time in the kitchen. Not lazy overall...

I just have a lot of other things that I think are important too. So, I am not implying that nurturing our families around the dinner table is a negative in my life.

Organizing and presenting to you my readers - recipes that enable those of us... call us "lazy" if you will, but those who prefer to maximize the time in a day, that each one of us are equally given and do it in the most efficient way possible!

Deciding what to cook for dinner tonight, is a monotonous question that our families basically demand an answer to - constantly! A question that has to be answered and acted upon - in order to create a pleasant home life for our families.

I don't know about your family... but when it comes to "food" - they can get really grouchy - if they perceive that they are being forgotten or neglected in any way, by the "one" that is in charge of that department in your house...

So whether you are male or female... I hope that some of these simple fast and easy recipes that will continually be added here - will help to add to the quality of your life - while enabling you to do the many other things in your important lives.

Bake your Pizza crust - uncovered for 20 minutes. Take out and complete your Pasta Pizza by adding any or all of these yummy toppings. You will think of more to personalized this Pasta Pizza!

  • sliced mushrooms
  • sliced red onions
  • bell peppers - green and yellow for presentation
  • sliced olives
  • 1 lbs. mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (you choose)
  • ground hamburger meat or turkey - cooked - stir ring in the pizza sauce of your choice.

Now you may begin layering your wonderful toppings - just like you would any pizza - then smother with your cheeses all over the top!

BAKE for another 20 minutes uncovered - and then TURN ON your broiler for another 10 minutes until bubbly and brown! Be sure and keep an eye on it at this point.

Let stand for about five minutes. Cut - now serve with a mixed green salad on the side and ENJOY THE GOOD FOOD!

Your family will... I promise:-)

Ingredients for a basic "pasta" crust!

One jar of your favorite pizza sauce - which you will mix in to your cooked meat.

Pre-heat the oven 350 degrees:

  • 1 cup of milk
  • 16 oz. of small macaroni (boiled and drained)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 stick melted margarine or butter
  • 1/4 cup of the parmesan cheese (canned or whatever)

Mix all of the above ingredients in a bowl. Now, divide the mixture into two 13 X 9 pans that you have greased lightly with cooking spray - spreading to create a fairly think pizza-like crust.

Recipe History:

My friend Diana shared this with me the night before my daughter and her husband were coming over to celebrate his birthday - it was about a week after the fact. Bringing my cute granddaughter when she was 3 months old for a visit.

9/17/06...... It had been a very crazy day and I had not gotten to the store, or cleaned the house or anything and was under a great deal of stress. That is what friends are for....

This was brought to her (Diana) by Roberta - when she had chicken pox -- I just happen to know Roberta also - through attending Church together. Roberta had never shared this recipe with me. I think that she only shared it with those that got the "chicken pox"?

Although Roberta is no longer living in the area -- it is fun that I know her as well and this "Chicken Pox" recipe has a fun little history for me that I now pass on to my married daughters... who's families LOVE this!

So... lets go~

In mixing bowl - combine

  • Cream of chicken soup - 2 cans

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp onion flakes
  • Juice of 1 fresh lemon

  • Grated Cheese 2 cup

Place boneless/skinless chicken breast or tenders in a 9x13 baking dish.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 - 2 hours until chicken is done. While this is baking -- boil 1 package of large - wide egg noodles - drain completely.

When sauce is completely baked - pour over egg noodles and serve. You may garnish if you like... serve and enjoy!

This will feed at least six adults.

Your family will really love this fast and easy recipe - especially if you like creamy sauces, that are based with sour-cream.

I consider this fast and easy recipe - in the classification of true comfort food for the family. With very little preparation and great presentation to those who need to feel cared for...

Now, you do understand - that you do NOT need to suffer from a case of the Chicken Pox's to enjoy this yummy meal?
