Chicken is one of the most versatile meats, It is easy to cook and could be a variety among our non vegetarian recipes.Chicken can go from a fridge to table in about 1/4 an hour. Beyond all fat content of a chicken is much less than beef or pork, and most fat content in chicken is unsaturated, which helps lowering blood cholesterol.It provides protein for building and maintaining the muscle of our body, iron for healthy blood and other essential vitamins and minerals can be attained if chicken is included in one's diet. Here is one such chicken recipe to cook .


  • chicken thighs 8 in number
  • onion one in number (medium)
  • garlic four to five cloves
  • ginger of 2' in size
  • 5 to 6 green chillies(you may remove seeds if you do not want the chicken too hot in taste) chopped
  • salt to taste
  • lime juice 4 table spoon full
  • corriender seeds (dhaniya)2 tablespoons
  • cumin seeds one tsp
  • red chillies whole 2 in number
  • small piece of cinnamon
  • cloves (long)4 in number
  • choti elachi or green cardamoms 4
  • ghee or white butter 4 tablespoons
  • tomato puree 4 tablespoons
  • sugar 1/4 tsp coriander leaves thinly chopped to garnish
  • vinigar 1 table spoon
  • method to prepare chilly chicken :-
  1. clean the pieces of the chicken and remove the skin
  2. make a paste of garlic ginger onion and 3 chillies .Now marinate the chicken thighs with this paste
  3. Add salt and lime juice and mix well on the pieces .let it aside for 2 hrs
  4. roast all the dry spieces such as dried red chilly cumin seeds coriander seeds cardamoms cloves cinnamon and ground it into powder
  5. heat 2 spoon of ghee or butter oil in a pan add marinated chicken and cook on high flame
  6. once the chicken is soft add all the dried powdered spices and mix well
  7. add rest of the butter oil and tomato puree and cook it on low flame
  8. Add sugar and salt and let it cook until done
  9. take of the flame and add vinegar and garnish with coriander leaves and chopped chillies tomatoes and capcicum and serve it hot
  10. It tastes amazing won't you like to try!!!
