Recipe: Glazed Doughnut Frosting

Who doesn't enjoy eating a doughnut every so often? A doughnut would just be boring if not for delicious frosting and toppings that are endless to create and think of. This recipe is for a traditional and classic glazed topping or icing to finish off a doughnut.

Doughnut Glaze Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat until melted.
  2. Combine the milk and vanilla extract.
  3. Add powdered sugar into mixture. Whisk slowly until combined.
  4. Remove glaze from the heat and set over a bowl of warm water.
  5. Dip doughnuts into glaze on one side. Set doughnut to rest on a rack for 5 minutes before serving.

Doughnut Glaze Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Butter
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 cup Whole Milk
