Ham and Noodle Bake Recipe

This recipe is quick and easy, a good use for leftover ham.

Makes 4 servings


8 ounces egg noodles
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup margarine or butter
2 cups diced cooked ham
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 eggs ,beaten
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
paprika or parsley


Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Cook noodles according to package directions, then drain.

Stir margarine and onion into noodles. Mix eggs and sour cream, then add to noodles.

Fold ham and pepper into noodles.

Use cooking spray on 2 quart casserole. Sprinkle bread crumbs in bottom of casserole.

Pour noodle mix on top of bread crumbs and sprinkle with paprika.

Cook uncover for about 40 to 45 minutes, or until mix is set.
