How To Make Fudge Using Only Two Ingredients
Maybe its because of the all the ingredients that "real" fudge takes or maybe it is because it can be time consuming to make, regardless fudge can be expensive.
Fortunately, for those of us who enjoy the taste of fudge, but cannot always justify the splurge, there is an inexpensive and delightfully easy, yet delicious two ingredient recipe. In fact, it is so easy that you do not even need to use your stove, just your microwave.
Follow the instructions below and you will be on your way to having the most requested recipe at your next family/friend function. It is up to you if you want to share.
1 can of ready to spread cream cheese frosting (I prefer the non-whipped)
1 12 oz. bag of chocolate chips
Pour the bag of chocolate chips into a microwave safe bowl and microwave them for 1 minute, (If they are not soft enough to stir continue to microwave and additional 20-30 seconds.)
Next pour the frosting in with the chips and stir until well mixed.
Pour mixture into an 8x8 lightly buttered baking dish and refridgerate for 1 hour.
The best part about this recipe is that you can mix it up any way that you like. Other variations include:
Cream Cheese frosting & Peanut Butter chips
Chocolate frosting & Chocolate Chips or Peanut Butter chips
Coconut Pecan frosting adding in chocolate chips & pecans
