Easy Leftover Bread - Indian Recipes
Recipes using Leftover Bread
Many times we happen to have left over bread from the previous day which the kids refuse to eat as it is. My solution to this mostly is Bread Dosa or Bread Upma. These are excellent as a breakfast dish or an evening snack.
Are you wondering what to do with your leftover bread? Given below are two quick and easy recipes using left over bread.
Bread Dosa Recipe
Given below are the Ingredients and Method of Preparation of Bread Dosa.
Ingredients of Bread Dosa
Bread 6 pieces
Rice flour1/2 cup
Moong Dal ½ cup
Rava ½ cup
½ Cup Curd
Chopped onion 1 small
Chopped Coriander leaves
Cumin seeds ½ teaspoon
Dry Red chillies 2
1 small piece of Ginger
Salt to taste
How to Prepare Bread Dosa
Soak all the ingredients except curd, chopped coriander leaves and salt for minimum half an hour and then grind to a very fine paste. Add curd, coriander leaves and salt to the batter. Mix well. Use this batter to make thin dosas on a hot greased Skillet or griddle. Cook till the dosa is brown both sides. Serve hot with chutney. Believe me, this is a wonderful variation to a normal dosa.
