Making Simple Cookie at Home
Cookie has been the most simple form of biscuit snack to made. With the knowledge of making one of this, you can simply modified it into others types of cookies like walnut with sun flower seed etc. Go ahead and try adding Chocolate chips and you might find yourself enjoying the tasty Chocolate Chip cookies.
- 250g Hard Butter, Not taken out from freezer
- 100g Demarara sugar, Can use white sugar too
- 50g Molasses Sugar, Can use black sugar
- 1 Egg
- 400g Plain Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon powder, Optional
- 100g Walnut, toasted & Chopped, Can use Chocolate chip too
- 100g Sunflower Seed, Can use Chocolate chip too
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees C
- Cream butter, demarara sugar and molasses sugar at medium speed for about 15 minutes until fluffy
- Add in egg. At slow speed, add the dry ingredients (plain flour, baking powder, cinnamon powder, walnut and sunflower seeds) and mix well. Avoid over-mixing.
- Shape mixture into small pieces and place a greased baking tray. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown at 180 degrees C
