Mango Trifle | Easy Dessert recipe
Mango fruit is a widely available fruit all over the world. Different types of mangoes with variety of taste are available in the market. Mango fruit is rich in vitamin. Normally all mango fruits are sweet in taste. We can make different kinds of special dishes from mangoes. I can suggest 'Mango Trifle' as one of the best dessert recipe.
Ripe mango- 1/2 to 1 kg
Mango flavoured gelatin- 1/4 cup
Custard Powder- 1/2 cup
Cake- 5 pieces
1. Boil 1 cup milk with sugar and when it starts boiling add 1/2 cup of custard powder ,
stir until thick and switch off the flame and keep it aside.
2.Take the gelatin powder in a flat bowl first add 1/2 cup of boiling water then add 1/4 cup of cold water ,allow it to refrigerate until set.
3. Prepare sugar syrup by dissolving and heating sugar in water.
4. Slice the 5 cake pieces into 2 pieces each
5. Slice the mangoes into cube-shaped pieces.
Now let's prepare the trifle
Take a flat shaped vessel,
Ist layer-spread the mango pieces according to the length of the vessel
2nd layer -Arrange the cake slices and put drops of sugar syrup on each slice to moisten them.
3rd layer-cut the gelatin into several pieces and spread them across the cake
4th layer-Spread the custard.
Continue the same procedure if you wish to make it more thick
You can make it more attractive by garnishing with mango pieces.
Finally,refrigerate it for 1/2 hour.
