Try frozen margarita popsicles...

Using this recipe, make frozen popsicles. Keep in your freezer and enjoy whenever you are in the mood to "cool down" after a hot day. Excellent for making ice cubes also, add to you favorite lemon-lime soda instead of regular ice. Just use your imagination and come up with your own ideas...feel free to leave in comment box.

Classic Margarita... Easy to make...great taste!

This margarita recipe has been a favorite for years. Try it out and find out for yourself. I used to order a margarita at restaurants, but after learning how to make it myself, they just did not taste as well. I will tell you, the only restaurant that makes great margaritas is the Red Lobster.

Classic Margarita: 3 parts Margarita Mix, 1 part Tequila, 1 part Triple Sec, mix, pour, add lime slice or wedge.

Add: ice cubes to *prepared glass, or for blended margarita add ice to blender together with all ingredients.

Optional: Add a little Gran Marnier

*Be sure to have a prepared glass: rub cut lime around top/rim, dip in salt or margarita salt Margarita salt is available in stores in a plastic container ready for dipping a glass. (salt may be left off if preferred)

This recipe can be used for to make 1 glass at a time or a pitcher full.

This is a great recipe for yourself and for gatherings. Please drink responsibly.

Bridal Shower Idea:

Serve this Classic Margarita in a large punch bowl for a bridal shower. Add sliced strawberries for added color. Garnish with a whole strawberry and lemon wedge. This has proved to be a popular drink. Be sure to have enough ingredients for another punch bowl too...the first one will be gone before you know it.

Great for girl's night out too! So delicious and satisfying, you will want another.

Tirelesstraveler - glad you liked the quizzes. Let me know if you try this margarita recipe. Yes, its the lemon that makes the salt stick, water doesn't work.

I love your quizzes. Have always wondered how to make the salt stick. Water never worked.
