Marinated Steak with Fried Potatoes
Cook Time
Ingredients
- 1 decent size steak
- 1 bottle Herb and Garlic Marinade
- 1/4 tsp Paprika
- 1/4 tsp Chili Poweder
- 1/4 tsp Spicy Steak Seasoning
- 2 Yukon Potatoes, 1/4 inch slices
- oil, for frying
- Add the seasonings to the marinade in a Ziploc bag or a bowl large enough to hold the steak. Marinate for at least 1 hour. (2-4 or even overnight is better.) Preheat 2 large skillets. In one skillet add just enough oil to fry potatoes. Slice the potatoes and pat dry. Add the potatoes being careful not to over crowd the pan. When the 1st batch is done drain on a paper towel lined plate. Continue until all the potatoes are fried. Add some salt to taste. depending on how you like your steak depends on when it is time to start cooking the steaks. I wait until the last batch of potatoes are in because I like my steak rare-medium rare. About 5-10 minutes. At this point you can reduce the marinade in a small pot so you can use the rest of the sauce. Serve with a salad or corn. I have even used fruit which is really yummy with the dish as well.
