Dry spicy Indian chilli chicken tikka recipe & cooking instructions

Yields: Serve 4 people at once

INGREDIENTS-

  • 500 grams Boneless chicken (Cut into half inch cubes)
  • ½ red capsicum
  • ¼ cup Chicken Stock
  • ½ green capsicum
  • 3 tbsp. Chopped onions
  • 3 tbsp. Olive oil
  • 6 broken cashewnuts
  • 7 Dried red chillies
  • 1 tbsp. chopped Garlic
  • 1 tbsp. roasted Cumin powder
  • 2 tbsp. Tomato puree
  • ½ tbsp. Red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp. Boiled Kidney beans
  • 2 tbsp. Coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp. Chopped Dark chocolate
  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Take a non-stick pan & Dry red chillies & cashewnuts in it till it gets lightly coloured.
  2. Now put it in a Mixer jar. Take the chicken cubes: break it & put in jar. Grind it to a powder.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a non-stick pan & cut both capsicums into big pieces.
  4. Add garlic & onion and sauté for 2 mins. till it softens.
  5. Add 1.5 tbsp. chilli-cashewnut powder & sauté for 1 min. Also add tomato puree & salt & mix properly.
  6. Add chicken stock & mix. Add boiled kidney beans & mix it well.
  7. Then add chocolate at low flame & stir it well.
  8. Garnish it with coriander leaves & Serve hot.

      Very interesting twist on a Chilli with quite unusual ingredients such as cashew nuts and chocolate. Sounds very good and the beautiful sample of your food photography makes me want to eat it now! Great opening picture.
