Mock Apple Cider Punch: Autumn Tea
As the Autumn leaves turn colors, we find ourselves planning get togethers and looking for new and tasty recipes. Here is a great recipe for a wonderful fall tea that resembles apple cider. It can be served either hot or cold. It is quick and easy and has only 6 ingredients. It is a hit with everyone who tries it!
Autumn Tea Recipe
Begin with gathering together the ingredients. Remember you can serve this hot or cold, so you will want either a crock pot to mix it in for hot service or a large pitcher or punch bowl for serving cold. This recipe makes a full punch bowl. You will need a long handled spoon, liquid and dry measuring cups and spoons.
Mix in serving container:
- 5 cups of brewed tea (40 oz.)
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 1/3 cup of ReaLemon
- 5 cups of sweetened apple juice (40 oz.)
- 2 cups of sweetened cranberry juice (16 oz.)
Stir well and either heat or serve over ice.
Note: We served this recipe at a ladie's conference and did not have the ability to brew the tea. I served the above substituting already prepared sweetened tea for the brewed tea and the sugar. It worked out great!
