Chicken and Pasta With A Twist

Updated on July 16, 2011

Don't Forget The Good Stuff

Grilled Chicken; over the grill or sauteed up with virgin olive oil, sliced in stripes

Red Bell Peppers: slice them in half, take out the seeds and proceed to slice them in julian slices or strips.

Fresh Spinach raw..

A small jar of sundried tomatoes uncooked right from the jar

Fresh crushed up garlic or garlic minced from a jar

Fettucini or bow pasta or really any pasta

This dish is a fairly easy one, Take two teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil. Crush up fresh garlic cloves, put in a handful of sundried tomatoes and julian slice roasted red peppers and sautea that up in a small fry pan just to turn color. Meanwhile take some have pasta .. perferably fettucini , (you can use any pasta really whatever you like, I just like fettucini)

cook that to aldante,, Take chicken breast slice in 1/2 and then julian slice those, sautee them up and put aside .. when everything is done mix it and then throw in fresh spinach. This dish is awsome., for the best taste sprinkle adobo seasoning and parmesian cheese.

I like to make a nice salad with this dish. A simple ceasar salad, we already have chicken in the main dish.

Romaine Lettuce

Italian Croutons

Ceasar dressing.

Also what would go great with this dish is a nice garlic bread with or without mozzerella on top.

A fresh loaf of italian bread

sprinkle olive oil and minced garlic on it.

a little oregano, very little

and a light cover of shredded mozzerella cheese

make sure you preheat the oven for 325'

place to the two pieces of bread side by side on a piece of foil, wrap the foil around the bread and the ends leaving the top exposed, so the heat can cook it evenly.

keep track of it in the oven, because each oven varies. ultimately it will be done when all the cheese is melted.

This dish is to die for.. love it. I eat it for late lunch since I do not like pasta past five o'clock.

When you are making this succulent italian dish be sure to play some classical thinking music. I like Yanni or Josh Groban or Jim Brickman, but you can ampify your experience of cooking by creating a special mood. I like to have this dish when planning a romantic meal with someone special. There would be a beautiful white lace tablecloth laid out in all its splendor.

Next I would think real hard about a center peice. I find silk flowers are beautiful and they last. On either side of the flowers there would be long cylandrical candles that would be pastel in color.

Finally top off your experience by shutting off phones, television and locking all doors, and let your adventure begin..

Have fun..
