Mold Rice With Meat Filling. Images that WILL Get You Hungry
This recipe can make your day, and flavor your taste to a different kind of cooking.
There are varieties on how to make this molded rice fillings, but as one might say, the meatier, the better.
2 lb (1 k) white rice
4 garlic cloves, minced
one onion finely chopped
½ teaspoon cumin
1 lb (½ k) ground meat
6 black olives, seeded and quartered
½ cup raisins
3 eggs, cooked, cut in 8 wedges
¼ cup parsley, chopped
¼ cup oil
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper
Cook your rice the same way, I usually go with 3 cups of rice with 4 of water. If you want to make it healthier cook brown rice if you think is a better choice.
ON AN SKILLET OR SAUCE PAN
Heat 1 spoon and a half of oil, now you can use olive oil for healthier reasons. add the onion and saute for a minute, as you see it turn to a tender color reduce a little the heat and add garlic; stir and smell. LOL!
One more minute later add the paprika, cumin and pepper, smelling better right? to all this wonderful mix add your favorite meat; as I said it can be chopped chicken breast or even turkey. Is your choice. COMBINE THE MEAT and stir until you think its done. Correct the salt by tasting it... by now you can add raisins olives. Can you imagine all these? My mouth is getting watery... but I gotta finish this hub!
Stuff rice on a cup... you will get a solid molded rice right? turn it upside down and unmold on the plate. the molded rice by gravity will fall nicely, like a rice cake.
with a spoon bore a nice hole on top. You get the idea right? insert at will the meat preparation, cover it with more rice. What a good surgery Wow! and use the cup again to give it a natural shape. Now you get your Rice-K. you can serve individually and decorate with the egg wedges and sprink the parley on top. You won't regret the try! Good luck!
