Rose Mary's Crockpot Rice Pudding
My Mom's Recipe for Rice Pudding
I loved my Mom's crockpot rice pudding. I serve it warm and as soon as it's ready and cool enough to eat, my family gobbles up this sweet treat. This is a tasty and filling dish for those chilly fall and winter evenings.
- 2/3 cup Sugar
- 6 cups Milk
- 1 cup Rice
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- Optional: Garnish with Nutmeg
- Optional: Raisins
- In a crockpot, combine all ingredients.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until it is in a pudding like consistency. Stir pudding 1 or 2 times during cooking to avoid clumping.
