Shawn's Salmon Patties
best of salmon
ingredients:2 cans of salmon
2 Tablespoons yellow corn meal
1/2 cup flour
1 sm. onion diced finely
1tsp. fresh oregano diced finely
dashes of salt,pepper.season-all
hot sauce (optional)
remove bones from salmon without breaking up fish to much.
combine other ingredients with salmon being careful not to break up fish.
form into patties roughly size of the palm of your hand
spray skillet with Pam,and butter
cook on medium heat for 5 minutes or till golden brown
flip and let second side cook for 3-4 minutes
remove and place on paper towel to absorb access grease.
suggest to serve with rice and steamed asparagus
This meal is tasty and not to fattening.
These patties can be prepared on outdoor grill if
proper rack (rack with grid close together) is used.
If using regular rack do not press down on patties
and give extra minute to each side before flipping
carefully.do enjoy them. me and my family do. Also
with corn on the cob.
