World's Best Cucumber Salad

Incredibly Delicious Cucumber Salad

The Ingredients

5 or 6 cucumbers

2 green onions (also known as scallions)

4 tbsp. sour cream

juice of half a lemon

1 tbsp. sugar

salt, to taste

black pepper, preferably freshly ground, to taste

How To Make Cucumber Salad With Sour Cream

Using a peeler, remove the green skins from the cucumbers but leave a few strips of the dark green skin here and there. It makes the salad look very appetizing.

Slice the cucumber into thin rounds.

Thinly slice the green onions, including the tops.

Into a bowl, squeeze the juice of half of a lemon, then add in the sugar and the sour cream. Mix with a fork until incorporated, then add in the cucumbers and onions. Salt and pepper to taste.

Reserve some of the sliced green onion tops for garnish.

If you refrigerate this salad before serving, you'll need to mix it again because the cucumbers will have released some of their liquid. Therefore, I usually wait to garnish the salad with the green onion tops until just before I serve it.
